ABOUT

Lakeisha ( la•KAY•sha ) is a multidisciplinary digital and graphic designer who strives to create works that are contemporary yet eternal. True to her middle name, Lakeisha is a live personification of the Esthetique

Her artistic practice is fluid and ever-changing as she continues to experiment with creative code, photography, fashion, illustration, and print – primarily within the confines of the arts, culture, and technology.

Her process derives from her personal experiences living in Jakarta, Indonesia, a different cultural landscape from New York City where she resides now.

Lakeisha did her BFA in Communication Design at Parsons School of Design, where she became fascinated with interactive design that explores the relationship between humans and digital interfaces. Through her work, she uses art as a means of reconciling these seemingly opposing forces.
